Same here, check in a few times a week to see the latest updates.
Sadly seems to have lost favor with most so the volume of info has diminished considerably.
Even parts info and where-to-buy alerts are now almost non-existent.

I'm curious to see how many read this thread...

Like has been said on other threads, this is an excellent place to follow a build and does not loose it's collective knowledge over time as other social media platforms do (by design?...). One can come back here years from now and still easily find a topic/thread and follow it while you can't find something on social media 2 minutes after it was posted. That's why I still check the forum daily (though lately it doesn't take very much time to read the new posts, if there are any...). As the attention span of the average person gets shorter and shorter, social media gets more popular, and platforms that take any amount of time or thought to digest are pushed to the fringes until they disappear. :(

So to help out a little, I added a race report to the Travel Stories and Adventures. Something new for everyone to look at.

I like the bulletin-board format, because the information is a lot more attainable. Social media sites are not information friendly, as everything on them is so fleeting and emotion based. I've resorted to having my own sort-of private blog (private because nobody visits it LOL) to store information about whatever, that i can easily go back to. :)
I'm graphic!

Like the rest of the responders, I prefer this forum to anti-social media. I exclusively put my pictures in the gallery and write article-like posts that hopefully some read. I refer back to a lot of my former posts for reference.

Here's hoping for better times...

More information on 1968 Meyers Manx 1

Post by SKBYBLU »

I would like this forum to get going as well. I am new to the forum but have had my Manx for a little while since 2019. I am hoping to get more information as far as where and when it was purchased as there is no tag. I do know it is a Manx 1 and my registry certificate is labeled "no tag." I am not sure what "no tag" means. I know what a pre-tag is but what is a no tag? When was the Manx 1 sold and out of which location? The prior owner gave me little information. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
