67 Baja 1000 winner (and 2nd)

Post by modellwerke »

Looking for photos of the hood of the 1967 Baja 1000 winning Meyers Manx #10. The internet provided quire a few, but the white rectangular sticker above the Meyers Manx banner eludes me. Rear fender and tail of car are also a bit fuzzy. Car was in the Reno automobile museum for a while, but now???

Also the #5 2nd place Manx. All I have here is a front view.

I also have the make your eyes bleed video of the event....

I am curious on what your plans are of using any pictures being posted here of the winning Manx.
I have pictures of the replica of the #10 car and the sticker you ask about, but without knowing what they will be used for, I will not post them.
The off road race cars that were in Reno, part of them are now inside the Terrible Herbst Casino Hotel in Jean Nevada. Jean is about 10 miles from the California/Nevada border on I-15.
The #10 car is not part of the collection there. It is being stored in Southern California the last I have heard.

I am going to use the information to do decals so I can make a model of the cars. If you do not want to post the pictures on the Forum I can send you my email by PM.
Except for that one sticker I have all the information on the winning car #10

Here is some of the pictures I have of #10 that I can find now.
I don't have any of the second place Manx.
