Can new fiberglass over old be removed? I think previous owner added layers of glass and body shrunk?

Tow'd is still languishing in the mud while I gather bits.
Hope to get at it over the winter. Our weak dollar/your strong dollar isn't helping, current exchange rate is 35%, so every dollar spent in the US costs me $1.35 in Canadian dollars. Can you say ouch?
Been thinking of you as we watch the northwest weather lately... do you wear a floatation vest 24/7 these days???
