Empi Sportster

I've always liked Empi Sportsters. I'd like to make one out of aluminum diamond plate someday. I think I saw one at Bishop but I lost track of it. It might have been a Burro. There's a 1963 Motor Trend article on the Sportster listed on ebay (180039324462) with a couple nice pictures. The Econo motors license frame on the front of the one buggy is very cool. One neat trivia item about the article is, it probably tells how they first came up with the name for their later fiberglass buggy.
