Fla Rain

Post by MickeyUSA »

Well we final received a much need thundershower in draught ridden Fl. One problem had by Beetle donor at my brother-n-law?s house, with the pan and body separated now everything is soaked. Haven?t had rain in weeks but it couldn?t wait another day so I could get the pan home to my garage. Oh-well I guess I need to get use to it, having a buggy you are going to get wet sometimes.

Living in Florida your going to get wet most of the time in the summer. Put drain holes in your pan. A bimini top offers a great deal of protection except when you get those side ways showers. Side curtens are just to hot in the summer. And plan most of your trips in the morning before the afternoon showers.

Driving faster is the best bet for staying dry . I have a regul;ar car cover /cloth then you can allways bungy a cheap tarp over it .
