I know its got nothing to do with a manx but has any one had the expeirience putting a bug eye nose peice on a bug and using the stock hood??

no. but I've cut afew steel body's into bajas. I dont see where there would be a problem using the steel hood

I think the front end will be too short for the stock hood once the nose of the bug is cut and fitted w/the Bug eye Baja nose. It's nothing that can't be corrected with a little creativity, a pair if tin snips and a welder.

I was wondering if anybody could post some pics of the baja kits they did with the metal fenders?

I think most people would do a Baja Bug to get rid of metal fenders, but here are a couple of shots of the 1st Baja, so they say. I believe it used cut down stock fenders.

One old school Baja trick was to mount the rear fenders on the front.
