Nice score on the top. It will make a nice addition to the buggy. It does give me some ideas.

Updating my '67 Manx UPDATED PHOTOS
Tell us a little about the top, home made? What material, fiberglass or plastic, side curtains? I'm just trying to come up with some ideas to keep some water out if its a rainy day. The buggy looks like a fantastic project, everything is very clean.

Transaxle gear ratios
Thanks, my IRS has the code numbers but it is from a trans shop that went out of business. My swing axle doesn't have the code, just a 6 digit number stamped in its place.

Transaxle gear ratios
Anyone know how to tell what gears and gear ratio I have in my buggy and bug. Something like jacking one wheel up and turning it or the engine. What's the real process and any formulas. Thanks

You guys are right, Facebook is for quick pictures and comments, nothing more. I've researched topics on the forum and have been helped many times. A great place for information. You're also correct about the forums needing an easier way to post pictures. Hope there is someone out there with the kno...

Got windshield wipers??
I have heard of owners who have wiper arms and no motor. Usually once people see the arms and blades they assume everything works.

Corsair project
Seems like I've worked out all the little bugs so far. Everything is working. Looking forward to Big Bear for the buggy's first outing. http://i1218.photobucket.com/albums/dd401/sandwinder1/P5180004.jpg http://i1218.photobucket.com/albums/dd401/sandwinder1/P5180001.jpg http://i1218.photobucket.com/a...

Leaking sending unit
Pulled the hood today. My sending unit came with crappy little lock washers only. Threw them away and used some neoprene washers with thin flat washers. Had to steal from gas from my red gas station in the driveway to top off the tank. No leaks, hood is on and no leaks after a short run around town...

Leaking sending unit
I had one like on the left but it didn't check out on the bench. It had erratic readings. Now I am using one like on the right. It reads good on the bench and in the buggy. I'll pull the hood Sunday and go from there. Thanks

Leaking sending unit
Anybody have a recommendation on how to seal a leaky electric fuel sending unit. It's a new VDO sender but when I fill the tank up it pools around the sender. My hood is a pain to get off so I haven't actually looked at it yet. I have reached under the hood and splashed in the gas though. It's a sto...

Big Bear will be my first chance to attend an event. Anyone have an idea when the registration flyers will be out?
