Assume carb set correct idel out from close 1.5-2 turns. Throutle plate shut then open say one turn. Now mess with timing. I think you are lean try advancing till it runs or bounces off starter. After you get it running dont go over 30 degress total advance

A lot of people move roll cage connecting bars in. So you can just stand up. Some with roofs hinge them from windshields and use back hatch extenders to hold up.

Paul you are correct about cracking. I just think from motor to trans mount would look better. I am still happy with what I have and just got some tube separators.

4734 There's mine. Out of engine to fan switch, thermostat if hot on to cooler then back through filter and into motor. 6" fan on cooler, #8an lines. If it still had flat fiberglass body it would bolt with the 1"tall rubber isolators from Empi. Venting on engine is both valve covers, fuel...

Could someone post or direct me to more info on the 4x4 buggy used in the latest news letter? It's a great article on radios, but the blue buggy is even more interesting.

Buy it and get started. Starting is the hardest part. You will most likely replace everything in time anyway. Thats fun too. Always something to make better on a bug. No single part is very expensive even a new body is less than paint.
