Original Owner B.F. Meyers & Co. Buggies
I'd like to put a list together of B.F. Meyers & Co. buggies(made 1964-1971) which are still owned by the original builder/first owner or their family. I apologize for omitting anyone I should have known but I'd really appreciate if anyone can add to it, just from memory these are owners I can r...

Re: Karmann Ghia Diac Brakes
Yes, with a proportioning valve you can limit the tendency to lock up and skid the front tires which already exists on a buggy with stock drums which might be even more so with front discs, however what you really need are more powerful rear brakes. Are you going to run all 4 lug wheels? With Superb...

Re: Time-line and Variety of Meyers Manx Nose Badges
Bud, sorry I didn't notice the message until just now. Here is some more info on the subject The first foil backed sticker would have gone on the first Manx with a raised bump on the hood. That would have been the first floorpan Manx, which was made @ November 1965. The plastic emblem replaced the f...

Re: Utility Manx Found!
I like the Mustang taillights, you gonna keep em? With the Barrett chassis, IRS and bus trans why not go with a big block Type 4 engine? Is the 2" lift one of Dave's Condor chassis?

I have a square tail clone sitting on my back patio now. It has the exact same gussets under the rear skirt.

Re: Question about the Manx 2
The way to tell if its a Manx 2 is if it has a 10 digit tag serial # that begins with A or it has a 4 digit tag serial #. I know some Manx 2s had small bumps on the nose and an ABS dash. Some Manx 2s had a black Manx 2 dash and some had a body color Manx 2 dash. Some Manx 2s had tubes(always on both...

Re: Early Squaretail manx sold in Georgia
They had tubes from the earliest floorpan Manx, but they didn't start using lifting blocks until after they had tags

Re: WTB: Tagged Yuma Yellow Manx
OK I guess it was my bad commenting, but Eric is still in the market for a Yuma Yellow 69 Manx and he's bumped his ad a couple times so I think he probably wants to keep it in the Swap Meet threads.

Re: WTB: Tagged Yuma Yellow Manx
I bought a blue Classic Manx kit for $2,000. I built it up nice and took it to Lone Pine and Bishop and Clear lake and Tahoe and went on all the off road runs and had a great time with it, but took care of it and it still looked new. Later a guy made me an offer and I rebuilt it for him with an IRS ...
