Weber Jet swap?

I'm pretty good at harebrained ideas, so here's one...............I have a pair of Weber IDF 40's. They are jetted to be used in a dual configuration. I want to run singles, so I'm going to have to re-jet the ones I have. If you have some carbs which are jetted for singles, and you want to run the...

Underbody finishing

For what it's worth, I used the rubberized undercoating and it works great. Went on easy, dried fast and has survived for a few years now.

Thanks Bob,

Hi Bob, I have the windshield that came with the buggy. It's a bit rough, has cracked glass, and has holes drilled in it, so I thought I'd try to replace it. (As cheap as possible...LOL). I appreciate the offer to trade. We'd like to go to Tahoe, but I don't think we can make it this time. Too much ...

Howdy

Thanks for the help, gentlemen. I bought the windshield for the Tow'd from Dino. He does great work. I was hoping someone might have one hanging around that they aren't gonna use, and would be willing to sell. You know, it'd be one of those deals where I buy someone's parts so they'll have money to ...

I can't get the Classifieds section to work for me....

Hello, I've been trying to post an ad in the classifieds, but it doesn't seem to work. When I tried to author the ad, at the second level, there's supposed to be a drop down window to choose the category.....It doesn't drop down. So, I'll try it here: I am looking for a new Windshield for a Manx 2. ...

Another $0.02 worth

Hi Folks, It seems like the reasonable thing to do is to open "most" of the site up to the public so they can have a taste of the place, but hold something in reserve for "Members Only" That's how I became a member. I came for free and interacted with members. But to enjoy the wh...

Seeing more buggies in my little town!

I live in a small town. Nothing happens or moves much. There are a lot of cars moving around town, but I don't know why. There's nothing here to drive to. Over the past few months I have seen three different buggies running around town, and another for sale by the side of the road. I don't get to sp...

I Found Two Cents And I'd Like To Spend 'Em Here!

I remember when this was the go-to site for buggy info and ideas. It wasn't all that long ago. When the club went "private", the folks who were drawn here for those ideas and info went elsewhere. The folks who were closed out still needed ideas and info, so folks gravitated to other free s...

Thanks

Hi Don, I guess my best bet is to call SoCal and see what the cost will be. But, I couldn't find any front drums in their on-line catalog. I'm sure they have them, I'm just pretty pathetic at "Computering".....LOL. I found a guy on TheSamba who was advertising exactly what I'm looking for,...

modified brake drums

I'm looking for a set of Type 1 brake drums which are drilled for the Chevy bolt pattern. (5 X 4 3/4" I think)....... My buggy is using a 1970 type 1 as the donor. So Cal Imports has rears, but no fronts. Theirs are also drilled with the Ford pattern, so it has a lot of holes in them.....They h...

Buggies in the desert

I took a picture of this little buggy because it was just awsome! It was faster than a speeding bullet, was able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, and hardly used any fuel..... http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a264/croakintowd1/Lone%20Pine%202008/LonePine2008010.jpg Whoever owns this little...

Help us please!?

Hello, My wife and I are planning on going. We'd like to arrive on Thursday and leave on Monday. So we need info on the proper way to do that. Do we contact the resort to book the extra days, or what? Any info would be a big help. We'd also be willing to volunteer to help do whatever. Thanks! Richar...
