Re: Scarlett Gets A Makeover!
Some progress on Scarlet this evening, in West Virginia. Fuel Tank Modifications. Started by cleaning the inside of the Tank a few month's ago, then let sit out in the sun to help off-gas any remaining fuel residual. Sandblasted the top and most of the bottom of the tank. Next step is to set up a Ma...

Re: NEW REVISION OF MANXCLUB BYLAWS
i'm just a little confused which is normal. are manx club members now supposed to go to the facebook site or use this one? I don't care either way but it would explain why not much happens here. just please clarify. thank you. IMO, use which ever you like. For me, FB sucks because within a few hour...

Re: NEW REVISION OF MANXCLUB BYLAWS
As anyone who actually knows me, I am not tech savvy, and never intend to be, I get by well enough without it. A company flip phone, and laptop at home are all I need. Why would the MC not use other sites to promote itself? Even thinking about limiting MC associations to one site is utter nonsense a...

Done.
And, Thank you again for spending your time creating this Calendar. It has been talked about for a number of years and you have made it happen.
I always look forward to flipping to that new month and seeing my friends in it.

Re: Iron Buggy...More like Iron Towd!!!
Wow! Getting close. Tuesday evening next week I will prep my buggy. After driving to Chris Lewis's house to meet up with the ECV-Keys, running around here to work and then last week to the OBX for a MOTB pre-run, I have about 3600 miles on the oil. So, oil change. Adjust valves. Adjust rear drum bra...

Re: Moab Event interest for 2017
Just throwing this out there. For the Eastern buggies, I am thinking of running Route 66 from near OK City to Chicago, (or near enough to stay away from the traffic and tolls) on my return trip home. Might take about 3 days doing this. Day 1, Moab through 4 Corners to Amarillo TX. Day 2, Amarillo TX...

Re: Manx 2 Alaska 2016
Brian, I think I may have one or two possible pictures too. Joe, I think you should submit this picture for the calendar: http://www.debrouillard.ca/ph/Dune%20Buggy/2016/Trips/Alaska/BrokenSpring/broken%20spring-3.jpg That is my hands holding the broken spring. I think Vincent took the picture, so,...

Re: Manx 2 Alaska 2016
Thanks for taking the pictures Vincent! For some reason I was to distracted to do that. For future reference, the Spring that fit both the cut valve guide boss and the Chromoly Retainer was from a Ford 300 6 cylinder. Ford used a Bee Hive style spring that has a ID of 0.850 inch on one end that fit ...

Re: Bud's Manx Restoration
Cool!
I was off about 1/2 gallon, but being able to pull it down to within 1/2 pint of fuel is super.
I hope you enjoy many miles with it, and it should last through your Grand Children learning to drive a Stick Shift with it.
