Thanks for the info. I had bug with an Avis adjusters, what a pain to adjust. Sounds like what I need to do is use sway a way adjusters and tune it to exactly the height I want.  Now back to the garage to plug away on in this project. 

Where does a stock BJ front end ride in a Manx?  My car is off road style and I want it to ride toward the top of the front end travel for ground clearance.  Stock torsion bars, sway-a-way torsions, or will I need at least one torsion adjuster to get the proper ride height?
