Re: Introducing the Manx Club "Long-Haul LEAGUE" award
Solo = Get in the buggy and go. No chase vehicle or other accompanying vehicle. just 1 buggy, 1 or 2 people, gear, and maybe 2 or 3 credit cards.
This is a highly recommended way to travel with a buggy

Re: 2015 Manx Over The Falls - Buffalo, New York June 25-28
I sure hope that the guard will be able to see anything that is going on in the lot. The last time I was at Buffalo, NY, Holiday Inn - Downtown, the lot had about 85 spaces, and was poorly lighted. My plan is to remove anything of value and place in my room where the maid can go thru it. Also rememb...

Re: Official NORRA 2015 MEXICAN 1000 thread (April 25-29)
Tim, I believe that the event is based on class. The class for the Manxter #00 and TOWD #166 is VMEYERS. They are the only vehicles in that class this year. It appears that the TOWD will get a 1st in class. Also keep in mind that most of the vehicles in this event are restored from the 60's thru the...

Re: Official NORRA 2015 MEXICAN 1000 thread (April 25-29)
Oops! Someone missed a turn around 5:30pm. At 6:14pm PDT it appears that both buggys have opted for the shorter highway route into Bay of LA. On second thought it appears that #00 is backtracking to the missed turn and going to take the off-highway route. The last scan on the status indicates that #...

Having been to more than 1 pre-race tech inspection in Mexico, it is more like a 12 pack of ice cold Coronas, and a pitcher of margaritas, with a plate of nachos and dip on the side. It really is like a giant party with a small group of inspectors in the middle looking at the cars
