Big Bear 2011

I had a great time. I got to lead the red group through Holcomb Valley. We went on a few different areas then before, and I was glad to see that they are starting to open up some of the old trails that were closed due to fires. Our group had 27 buggies. The Tow'd race # is 27. Coincidence or what? O...

My number is up!! Could be a Signature/Classic Manx for sal

Jay  Tow'ds are great, they are so different than the manxs. We are getting used to the coziness. I think you should have one in the collection. http://static.yuku.com/domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/wink.gif Here is ours Doran http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/199350b41100b5578bc8383440fbe0eb577f5fe...

Pismo Batchelor Party

We decided to head to Pismo for my friend Cory's Batchelor Party. It was the first time for them in any type of buggy, and I think a few of them have taken the bait.  http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/7e0356d0181db7d48b4f3bde45f5e9f0943fcfc.jpg http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/83b15a14b784334f0319f...

Tow'd at Kernville

Well the tow'd survived Kernville. We flat towed, as its supposed to be, to the event. The reduction gears worked well, but I set the suspension up a bit to stiff. There's a few things that need adjustment, but overall I like it. It took us a while to get used to the coziness after the manxter. Here...

Kernville was a blast!

We had a great time. The area is so beautiful.  It took us some time to get used to the coziness of the tow'd, but at the end of the run we really enjoyed it. I think its the closest I will ever get to owning a motorcycle.  We did get a few bugs in the face, but not nearly as many as I thought we wo...

Tow'd's test run

After a 2 1/2 year build so far, the tow'd got to go around the block.  The brakes still need work, wiring, and details.  http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/03a15415b285334aaa266124acb1a6746e8db6a.jpg http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/e61258611db23856313400fc37723c4cca7f343.jpg http://images.yuku.com...

newbie here with Manx

Hey Jon, Just follow me, from what I remember that trail isn't so bad. I would agree w/ Jon, the KISS principle works great. I have owned and built both swing and irs cars and have enjoyed both. In stock form the swing axles have lower gearing, but the irs cars can have more ground clearance. But as...
