Re: Manxter #160 Build - Gunmetal

Good News/Bad News/Better News Good - The drop spindles arrived today and even though the box was a little beat up, the spindles appeared to be well intact. Bad - I shipped my beam out to have adjuster installed only to find out it is bent and not worth trying to put adjusters in. The bottom tube ne...

Re: Manxter #160 Build - Gunmetal

Small update so far... Ordered some parts... Pulled the beam, did initial cleaning in prep for front adjusters. http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj31/3DollaBillz/Buggy/MANXTER/Manxter%20Build/40607F12-3CB5-4871-83C0-FD1BB652343D_zpsiz49ywxk.jpg http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj31/3DollaBillz/B...

Re: Manxter 2+2 Fuel Tank Options

Jeff - we can supply you with the details of the Rock Valley SS tank that is in Kathleen's Manxter if you can get past the $1000.00 + price. With today's gas, I don't think an aluminum tank is a good idea. Tom Hi Tom, any details will be appreciated, if nothing else it will be an option to see what...

Re: Manxter 2+2 Fuel Tank Options

Sadly, I have already called and spoken with Winnie who said they no longer produce the tanks.
That sounds exactly what I'm looking for. The AUS group was selling it for $500 AUS , after us conversion and shipping would've been way to expensive.

Manxter #160 Build - Gunmetal

Hello everyone. Ever since MOTB 14 I have been secretly stalking these cars, I blame sbuzzard for a large portion of this! I have also received the "go ahead" from the wife but, I'm not quite sure she has a full understanding of what is entailed. This is going to be a street machin...

Manxter 2+2 Fuel Tank Options

I'm looking for stock location fuel tank options. I'm going to have a Subaru engine so I need a return line and would like some extra capacity.
Do I have any options that can be purchased?

As always...NICE Work! I have a question about what appears to be (may not be) spider cracks in the hood. How do you fix those and is it from flex or the fiberglass drying out? Thanks for the awesome lesson Joe!

Wow doesn't even begin to cover your work Joe! What welder are you using? I see it is a Hobart, but what model. I see I am going to need to learn how to weld...really weld.
