Re: WTB: Sidewinder Exhaust (to Fix Up)

That looks like the 'original' style, from before the 3 bolt flange style.

Re: Manx Club Retro Event

Vincent: It works now. Thank you. I think that things worked a lot better when the Manx Club had a single "official" web site where everyone knew the real information was posted. Now with the micro sites & Facebook you never know what is posted, where it is posted, or when it is update...

Re: Moab Event interest for 2017

Actually, Dead Horse is a State Park, not a national park, and is is about 220 miles, as the crow flys, Northeast of the Grand Canyon.

Re: Source for rear deck lid strut

Andy,

I have obtained them at RV stores, NAPA auto parts, McMasterCarr.com on the internet.
Sometimes you really need to look to find them.
Do not buy 2 so you have a spare. They seem to go flat while on the shelf.

Re: Huge Mistake, Bruce and Winnie Meyers

Larry, I own both a KickOut, and a Manxter. I also have the title for a Manx. I have also been honored to have been on the Manx Club Board of Directors from 2008 thru 2014. I have been into Meyers buggys since June of 1968. I think that before you get to far down the road here you need to do a bit o...

Re: Huge Mistake, Bruce and Winnie Meyers

Larry, I believe that one of several reasons that Bruce & Winnie let the Manx Club go to being a member organized and run was all of the hassles. I know that both of them seem a lot less stressed since the membership took over in July 2008 I also know of just a few members who are in the hobby t...

I believe that there are only about 3 or 4 decklid kits in the owners hands at this time. I also think only 1 or 2 sets were ordered with the hardware option. Other than that the only installed deck lid kits are the Kickout SS that was at Carlisle last May. Owned by John Denmat. Bruce also drives a ...

Doran, I think Bruce or Winnie can get a number for you. Then off to the NAPA store. I also found some at Camping World. Take an old one to compare with. Joe

Jay, What a good question. Think about it, if you might need it what would the backup be. Buy it then you do not have to worry about if it is required and have to run around to get one. Just install it so it can be removed for storage and eliminate the food source for pests. Joe
