Re: MANX FOR SALE
First off, this thread is three years old. Second, Bob is an upstanding guy and long time member of the club. I would trust what he says about his opinion of the car, and even qualifies his statement as being the description of the person selling the car. So far as the car goes, there are many reaso...

Not sure. I can see them on my computer and on my cell phone.
OK, should be good now. I took the pics from a different location, so you should be able to see them now. Click on the small pic to expand it.

Re: Facebook
While I agree that there should be some kind of limits, good luck with that. We can't even get Congress or the FCC to support Net Neutrality to protect the public interest, and the public in general are too busy tilting at windmills to mount any kind of meaningful reform to stop it from happening on...
Re: Facebook
I would assume that most sites use our information in one way or another. That is why we get to use many of the programs on the internet for free. I can't think of many other ways they could make any profit. We freely allow them to do this most of the time when we sign up for a specific web site or ...
Re: Facebook
Is there anything specific that makes you think that this site is gathering information on you?

Jake,
While somewhat interesting, without first introducing yourself, or giving us some sort of context relevant to this board, your first post just comes across as blatant spam. The vehicle does not conform to the type of vehicles discussed here on this board.

Re: PERCEIVED AS OUTLAW
First off, I took no offense as I read your initial posts, so there is nothing to "lighten up." I apologize if I didn't recognize that the posts were satirical in nature. Emotions are never translated well in text. I was agreeing with you in how to deal with an overzealous officer, and jus...

Re: PERCIEVED AS OUTLAW
Like in any profession, there are some overzealous people who let their position go to their heads, or maybe they are just having a bad day. While someone could very easily come in contact with one of these people, I have found that the vast majority of people in whatever profession are courteous an...

Sounds like something got changed on their end, and broke the link. The pics would have to be re-linked then.

Re: texas dune buggy group
I don't have a specific answer, but it may be related to the State of Texas recently trying to wholesale revoke dune buggy and special construction vehicle registrations in an attempt to remove vehicles from the roadway that don't meet their current safety standards. That would be a bad precedent to...

Re: Lost pictures from photobucket
It's just a case of you can pay me now, or you can pay me later. Someone figured out that in electronic photography, they could cash in on the electronic alternative to the cost of purchasing, developing and storing all that film  Sorry, no clue as to what is happening with Photobucket. You ma...

Re: Carb Selection
It's just spam. The signature block has a link to an advert. There are two additional new "members" who posted on the same day that also have different advert links as the only thing in their signature blocks. Looks like they are trying to put in site based content as a way to get around s...
