Why don't you just go to the Manx Club Saturday morning breakfasts that the Meyers have in the Valley Center area? We would love to live in that area and go to them on a frequent basis. Tom

Great to know that the cuts in the piston top saved the valve from bending. We had the normal flat top pistons. And your fix was true MacGyver! Tom

Great fix. Yes you were lucky you didn't bend the valve like we did in 2007 coming back from Big Bear. I also hope you took a couple more springs from the donor head in case another spring broke. Tom

Re: Carburators at altitude
On the ECVW 2014 trip all the buggies had carbs and we went to the top of Mt. Evans & Pikes Peak (both over 14,000') with no problems. We were told to advance the timming @ 4-5 degrees for a little extra power. We must have gotten lucky with the jet selection. Tom Iacoboni

Re: Where is my brake master cylinder located?
If you don't know, it is not a stupid question, we all had to learn at some point. Lift up the front of the buggy, remove the drivers side front wheel and you should see it near the center of the car, right in front of the brake pedal. You should not have to take off the hood on a "normal"...
