Re: Sea 2 Sea Safari 2

Anthony, If needed, we could store your buggy at our house in Valley Center. Just make sure to ship it with a cover because my garage is full and it will be stored outside. Mike... I'm working on shipping my buggy out. Not sure if my daughter in Oceanside can fit it in her garage. Any options in cas...

Re: Tow'd Market Value?

Did you decide to put the Tow'd up for sale? I know a Manx Club member that is Tow'd shopping.

Re: OOOOOPSS

2 weeks ago; playing with carb adjustments and trying to sort out a "rich" running buggy. Making good progress then it just died... Check a few of the obvious items and still nothing. Looked at the gas gauge, it appeared to be low, popped of the cap and tank was dry. These things happen:)

Re: Softening Shocks

I'm running 12 psi in all my tires for on and off road. Also, have Bilstien 24-000321 shocks up front on a link pin beam. Great ride in all conditions.

Re: New to the manx club

Great story and progress; next on your list should be to join the Manx club (if not already done) and come up to Big Bear in a few months.

Re: SR Badges

If tony isn't interested; I would be. Our BF Meyers factory built Tow'd has two holes and a faded mark on the hood that match the SR emblem perfectly.

Re: '66 Manx Period Build - Milo

Those front tires are awesome but I would expect some rubbing. If not already done; make a steering stop by adding one long bolt to the backing plate on each side, then grind to to needed stopping point.

Build looks great and where did you get the back rims?

Faron,
You are doing an incredible job and I hope everyone recognizes the efforts. I would encourage people to donate what they can; all donations big or small add up (Remember 20 nickels make a dollar). Cheers and Happy Holidays to you and your family.

We use the old Tri-Phase filters on the Manx and Tow'd. They work great!

Do you have a picture, web link, or part number?
I little more info would be helpful.

Thanks Mike, once the volume was adjusted properly  the system and mount worked flawlessly during its most recent "1000 mile" trip. We couldn't be happier with Rugged Radios and their top quality products.
