Someone got a new set of sneakers...

All cleaned up, ready for some detail paint. Need a steady hand.

All mechanical components assembled and complete (except a motor rebuild).

Fitted the roll bar to the body and located seat belt anchor points.



Everything functions well. Will eventually disassemble and finish weld everything.

I bought the seats new from speedwaymotors.com. They are "Scat ProCar Pro 90 Series".

Made a couple heavy duty roll bar anchor plates.



The fiberglass tub fits neatly around them. They are angled back to match the back wall of the tub. This also maximized the seat travel.
The roll bar and the seat belt retractors will bolt the these.

Finally made some time to get back at it.



Stripped the fiberglass body back off.



Finished the work inside the tunnel, painted it and buttoned it up.



Reinforced the bottom of the frame head.



Added new floorboards.
