Pismo

I think it is a federal offense to have a buggy at pismo and not get into the dunes. I'm sure FGB patrol will be showing up at your door.

Got windshield wipers??

I have wipers but they do not seem to work on the back side of the windshield so wipers on buggy dont seem to work well in the rain because the inside of the windshield gets just as wet if you are moving at highway speed. I guess they will keep the law happy.

My buggy had a 6 volt starter in for 20 years with a 12 volt battery. I did change over to the 12 volt when I changed the flywheel and clutch with a new bushing to fit the 12 Volt. Also had to clearance the bell housing because on the 6 volt bell the bigger 12 volt flywheel did not fit.

I have found the same thing on HWY speed. 61MPH and above the buggy runs hot durring summer temps. But 55-60 it runs great. As to MPG I just keep filling it with 91 octane, change oil and adjust valves.

But it's a drawing by someone named Dave (Big) Deal. And that was my thought is he from the other side of the pool?

Steering Wheel On Wrong Side

Hey how come the steering wheel on the top left logo is on the wrong side? My son Bryce saw it as we were reading the threads.

[QUOTE="73SpeedBuggy"]I currently have a pair of megaphones on my buggy that are entirely way to loud for my tastes. I want something quieter, but still balzy sounding. I love the look of the sidewinder but worry that it might still be to loud. Could anyone compare the volume level to a pa...
