I have towed mine at 60 mph with no problems. Make sure you have lights, safety chain and secure attachment to front beam and go for it. What could possibly happen? OK, don't answer that. Seriously, I hardly knew it was behind me.

I cut and turned my ball-joint beam because it was too high. The stock VW shocks were not long enough. I did not soften the ride, just lowered it. Will softening the ride get your front end down enough?

The distance between beams is different for link-pin and ball joint front ends. On a VW pan you have to change the frame head before you can swap from one to the other.
