Most of the buggies over here have spent their 30 - 40 years being punished off road and they really show their age no matter how well they have been painted. That's why I like the idea of getting a brand new body. I love the original too but it seems to be an impossible dream to find a decent origi...

I know the guy in Australia who was trying to do it but he didn't quite get enough people that were really committed. I'm thinking that I might go for a LHD kit and make it RHD. The dash frame won't be hard to convert. I had to make one from scratch for my manx clone. The dash itself will be a lot o...

I have been driving this thing like this for 6 months and the brakes are still good. One thing I learnt also was to make sure that the brake shoes are really well adjusted. I adjusted the shoes so that they were all just scraping the drums. This made the pedal a million times better also.

If I had the choice between a 30 - 40 year old Manx or a brand new Kickout I know what I would choose!

I want a RHD Manxter!

My Manx clone has only been on the road for a few months and I'm already starting to get itchy feet. I reckon a Manxter would be perfect to suit my family of four. The only problem is it only comes as a LHD drive kit. What should I do? Wait for a RHD to be made or just import a LHD kit and make it R...

Dirk Hartog Island Trip?

I would like to see if there is any interest in a Manx Club trip to Dirk Hartog Island in Western Australia? I'm thinking of a similar event to the Fraser Island trip this year but on the west coast. I'm just testing the water at this stage. It is a trip that I have been thinking of for some time. I...

That sounds good. Can you put my name forward for the job at the AGM? There is no need for me to listen in on the phone or a online link.

That's a nice looking buggy you have there. I like the engine cover / licence plate mount.

There is no way I can make it to this being on the other side of the country. Is there any way for me to be a part of the AGM? There are only a couple of members on this side of the country.

I wonder if the Manx Mania will make it out to us Australian members? It would be interesting to read. Even pdf form would be ok.
