Re: Buggy Insurance

That's interesting. I have my business insurance ($1 million), home and 3 cars, plus an umbrella policy ($1 million) with Nationwide. When I asked about insuring my buggy they said no and the agent offered a Progressive policy that costs me > $400 a year for full coverage. I think it's time to go sh...

Re: Manxter 2+2 Fuel Tank Options

Jeff, I bought one through Winnie that came from TurnKey. It has aluminum supports where the suction and return line go but the fittings are left out so you van tape your own. There is plenty of room to install a fuel sensor, as to what ever you want. Being aluminum, I think it was a little expensiv...

Re: Which Emblem?

Brian, when I got mine the front had been wrecked and the pins were broken, the badge was rough, cracked, etc. I used black epoxy to fix the cracks and build up the chip missing from the side. I took a dremmel tool and removed the broken pins and epoxied 4-40 stainless bolts in there place. It worke...

Re: Vacation/tourist Sites To See In LA and up the PCH to Sa

Bud, You need to see Pismo, just to say you've been there. The area where James Dean was killed is close to there. On the Very North end of Pismo is a Best Western Hotel. There is a restaurant that hangs out over the cliff, next door, and has the BEST Sunday morning buffet, starts at 10AM. Check out...

WTB: Tagged Yuma Yellow Manx

Eric, I checked the Manx registry and found some Yuma yellow 922S's. Mine is a 822S and Vince Simansky had a 922S that he has sold to someone in New York. My 822S is blue, Vince painted it for me. His was yellow. If I were you, I would look in the registry and make a few calls. Good luck. I am hopin...

Manxter Bumper LED lighting

I added a Meyers Manx bumper. I used 1/4 white plexiglass behind the laser cut. I cut 2 strips to run beside the LEDs in the center slot, facing to the rear and then added another backing strip to old it together. I drilled a 3/8 hole behind the mounting bracket and fished the wires up the tube.

If you an get the Posters and banners ready for Big Bear, I can see a ton of them sold, especially with Bruce, Winnie and the BOD autographs. I'm getting excited about Big Bear and Manx on the Banx. I think the banners and your plates are awesome.
