Re: Manxter Side Curtains`

Any chance of getting contact information for whoever is working on the side curtains? After 20 years I think it’s time to get started on the Manxter.

WTB: Manx original Roll Bar

I’m needing an original Meyers Manx single loop roll bar. If you’ve built a cage for your car and have the original roll bar laying around, I’d like to purchase. I’m in Arizona but was hoping to find one that I could pick up at the Big Bear run in July. Doesn’t matter if it’s painted, chrome or stai...

WTB: Thing left spindles x 2

I’ve got two Thing front ends for my Manx and Manxter projects and they are both missing the left, drivers side spindles. Just need the left side but would be interested in a set if that is what you have. Let me know.

Re: SR Badges

Tony,
I think I might have a nose badge for the SR. Are you still looking?

Re: Buggy Parts Yard Sale

Jon,
I would be interested in the headlights if you still have them. Will you be at Borrego.

France's new Manx Kickout SS build thread.

Doran, Yeah, I'm thinking the 356 stuff will fit the car. I've been doing some research and it appears that I can use a VW trans with the 356 axles and disc brakes. The benefit there is all the mounting will require no fabrication and if my wallet is deep enough, I can do the Berg 5 speed. This car ...

France's new Manx Kickout SS build thread.

I'm in the gathering stages right now. My original plan was to do an IRS, balljoint chassis like you are doing. And then came along a guy that had stripped a wrecked 1964 Porsche 356C. So now I'm on doing a linkpin, swingaxle so I can utilize all of the Porsche parts. Not to hi-tech, but it worked p...

France's new Manx Kickout SS build thread.

Your project is looking great. It sure makes me appreciate living in a dry climate. Which # is your Kickout SS? My 14 year old son and I picked up my SS, #26, this last weekend at Winnie and Bruces. Who made your torsion bar caps? What are they made of? Keep up the good work. Jay and family in Color...

Weber Jet swap?

Richard, I went the other way with some IDF 44's. I had two single set-ups that I rejetted to the dual configuration. I'm sure that I've got all of the old stuff if you have specific numbers. Venturis would be different but I think alot of the other is the same. Let me know what you need. Jay

#3 Monocoque video...

I'm a little envious. Besides #3 and the speedster, did I count 3 AC cobras in the shop? He has some nice cars.

newbie here with Manx

Russ,  Keep it Simple, get it running quick and involve the kids in the process.  I've got 2 boys, 13 and 19, and some of the best memories we have are in the buggy.  My car is an original manx that has a balljoint front and swingaxle rear, and I've run with most everyone posting above and my car go...

My number is up!! Could be a Signature/Classic Manx for sal

Doran, Your build is one of the reasons that I've been thinking about a toad again. Funny thing is, the first toad that I had was sold to Richard in Louisiana to pay for the Signature Manx. I'm still trying to convince my wife that we need to keep the Siggy along with the Kick-out and the toad. I'm ...

Spare tire mount.

64 Manx, I'm digging out all of the pieces for Signature Manx #26. All of my hardware is still in its original packages and I'm sure the spare tire mount is in there also. It might be this weekend, but I'll be taking some pictures of the car and I'll try to snap a shot or two of the mount. Jay

My number is up!! Could be a Signature/Classic Manx for sal

My liver maybe, but my kidney has to be worth more that that!!!!! I did get the body out of the back of the shop along with the Berrien chassis that it was sitting on. I've got the Siggy sitting on the trailer and hoping to wash the dust off tonite. I'm going to advertise the Berrien chassis and we'...
